Exclusiva Hair Design & Spa is featured in Milwaukee Magazine!

Thirty-year industry vet Emmy Rothbauer moved her Downtown space to the Third Ward in February. Completely different than the oiginal Hales Corner spot (open Wednesdays and Fridays), the seven-stylist Third Ward shop has become Exclusiva's bread and butter. In demand is its enhancement menu that includes the ever-popular gloss treatment, $20 with another service. Cuts $32-52, men's $20-33; color $50 and up.

Here, exposed cream-city brick, amber colors and warm woods evoke urban relaxation in the Third Ward, while furniture from Artasia (which is located right downstairs) lends an Asian flair. Open since April (there's another location in Hales Corners), it offers hair design (cuts start at $27) plus a full line of body treatments. The Pillow Talk package lets you and up to three friends enjoy an evening of pedicure and manicures while catching your favorite film ($70 per person and they throw in the wine). Manicures and Mariniis is an hour of nail treatment while watching "Sex and the City" episodes while sipping cosmos. Exclusiva is open six days a week for optimal convenience. They sell Graham Webb products as well as Prive, a line created by cutter-to-the-celebs Laurent Dufourg at his New York and L.A. salons.
